Firstly, we have the windows. They face North and West.

This intersection is fairly busy all day long and has been the scene of a number of car accidents, parking tickets and weirdoes with dogs falling asleep on the bench. Nels drops me off across the street when he gives me a lift to work in the morning and I dodge surly SUV drivers to get to the other side.
My desk:

The bison is from the Peace River museum gift shop. S/he is most desirable and I have to keep her in my line of sight or she'll go missing. The ballerina was a gift from my friend Stacy, about 4 years ago. If you ask nicely, I can make her dance like Elvis. The birthday card is from my boss and coworker. The books are from the United Way crap sale, where I also got the best book ever written. $0.25 each! I gave Brock the Mr. Happy book.
Speaking of whom:

He's nearly always on the phone.
The buildings here are all connected underground by a pedway that is punctuated with lovely skylights. They're even lovelier at night, from outside:

I need to get a better picture of this:

It's the mystery dude! I thought it was a woman, at first because of the braided hair, but it's face is far too manly. He has a cleft chin, fergoddsake. Some day I hope to find out why he's there, and who he is supposed to be.

*Ring*
"Hello?"
"Hello. I'm calling about the GINGERBREAD you're advertising. So, what's up with that? Is it just going to be laying around? Will it be floating in the HOT CHOCOLATE? Or is it more of a "two tasty foods enter the pedway but only one will leave" kind of thing?"
Every day at 10am, we go outside in search of coffee:

Today, we found it at Starbucks. Mmm, eggnog latte.
